How it works
From enquiry to keys, step by step
This is the actual process, not a brochure version. It is designed so that both of us have a photo record and a signed document at every point that matters.
Step 1
Enquire
Pick a car (or tell us what you need), your preferred pickup date and how many weeks. Online form or phone — both reach the same people.
Step 2
Written quote
We confirm the car is free for your dates and send a quote: weekly rent, bond, kilometre allowance, extra-kilometre rate and every other fee by name. No surprises later.
Step 3
Reserve
Say yes and we hold the car for you with a pickup time. Your first week's rent and the bond are paid before or at pickup.
Step 4
Licence check at pickup
We check your licence and ID in person and photograph them for the file. Additional drivers do the same.
Step 5
Condition report, together
We walk around the car with you and photograph every panel, the interior, the odometer and the fuel level. Existing marks are recorded so they are never your problem at return.
Step 6
Sign electronically
You read the agreement on a tablet and sign it with your finger. The condition report is attached. You receive your own copy; we keep a tamper-evident record of the signing.
Step 7
Drive
Keys handed over. Rent is paid weekly in advance on the day set in your agreement. Tell us if anything changes — extending is just a written variation.
Step 8
Return and bond refund
Bring the car back to the agreed place and time. We do a return inspection with photos, compare it to the pickup report and read the odometer. The bond is refunded, less any deductions agreed under your terms, within the period stated in your agreement.
Good to know
Tolls and fines
Tolls and infringements incurred while you have the car are yours. Where we receive a notice we nominate the driver as the law requires, and a disclosed administration fee applies.
Breakdowns and accidents
Call us first. Roadside assistance is arranged where the car carries it; for an accident you are responsible for the excess stated in your agreement.
Servicing while you rent
Scheduled servicing is organised and paid for by us. We will arrange a time that suits you.
